Choose your medium: video, or the text version below with small changes for succinct reading.  This video covers services for Google Plus social search, and the new skill sets and teamwork needed to make your digital media strategy effective.

The people who are working in social media, guess what? They are some of the most sought-after people, but now they’re really going to be sought after. Maybe they’ll continue to make this as prevalent in the results, and I think it’s a good idea to have it really prevalent – but I really think they’ve got to integrate results from other platforms as well. There’s just going to be too many people saying “You can’t just have this coming strictly from Google Plus, or it’s just not going to be relevant enough”. I think they could keep it coming to this very large extent as long as it’s using other platforms as well.

Were your “social” and seo go-to people already eating, drinking, and living under then same roof in preparation for the dawn of Google’s social search? If not, their home is going to be an archaeological relic of the day when they were able to wall-off their work spaces.

You can’t just work with an SEO agency that doesn’t have some people working on staff that have been focusing just on social. So people who have been focusing on the social graph of users and understanding how that referral traffic from social networks – they are experts on all of that. If  you’re working with an SEO agency, that is doing both sides and can all of a sudden now start talking to each other {sic: this is what everyone will need now]. If you’re working on a smaller scale, or you’re working with strategy you can’t just work with someone who specializes in one or the other – that can’t be your strategy. If you’re going to work in SEO, you really need to have that person understand what can be done with Google Plus – at least for now. Perhaps in the future Twitter, Tumblr or MySpace, but that person really has to understand that or at least work with someone who understands that.
